I’m a shoe-tying, tear-drying, line-leading, book-reading, multi-tasking, question-asking, song-singing, smile-bringing, Teacher’s Assistant ….. and I love it!

I have always had a love of working with children. Being able to touch the lives of young children, to teach them to love learning, is the most rewarding experience.

In my spare time I enjoy singing, dancing, cooking, crafting, and shopping. I enjoy my time at Zion every day, working with great children and wonderful families.

Happily married and the mother of 3 adult children and “1.5” grandchildren. I am humbled to provide leadership and work alongside such high-quality staff that has dedicated decades to teaching preschoolers in the Zion Community and surrounding areas.
As a lifelong Lutheran and ELCA Deacon, I feel it takes a village to care for and educate the littlest members of our communities. “We are blessed to be able to assist in teaching the next generation of leaders, be they doctors, politicians, teachers like ourselves, or parents that are able to stay home with their children. Each day of work is a gift and I am thankful for it, and for all the children in it.”

I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my nieces and nephews, and friends. I love working at Zion because I love working with kids. Zion is my second family.

Administration – Student Enrollment
I’m originally from Brooklyn, but love my life on Staten Island for last 25+ years. I’m the mother of three beautiful girls. As a cooking and baking enthusiast, my heart is always in the kitchen. You’ll often find me singing and dancing there while I whip up special meals and treats for my family. I can’t survive without coffee and speak fluent sarcasm.

I was an EMT until I became a mom. I love working at Zion with the kids because it’s such a happy and nurturing environment.

I enjoy spending time with my family, going on hikes and doing yoga. I am continually inspired by the wide-open minds of young children. I am dedicated to providing my students with a meaningful and engaging learning experience.

I am a nose wiping, potty helping, hand soaping, crayon drawing, story reading, alphabet singing, number counting, jacket zipping, tear wiping, hug giving, difference maker for young children and I love every minute.
